RAMS NOW FACE MIDWEST CITY ON FRIDAY

Welcome to Owasso Championship Baseball. The Rams reached the 6A State Finals in 2007 for the tenth time in eleven years, winning the ninth State championship in school history. We expect no less in 2008. We still have a nucleus of great players returning and they are anxious to carve out their legacy in Owasso Baseball history. It will be exciting.

Our community is exceptional. There is no better place to live and raise a family. We have a great school system with a commitment from our patrons and administration to be the best in education and extra-curricular activities. Our facilities are not only among the best in the state, but in the nation. Owasso is a special place to play ball.

Owasso plays in the newly revamped Frontier Valley Conference which includes the high quality programs of Union, Jenks, Broken Arrow and Muskogee.  In fact, since 6A was formed in 1997, the State Championship has been won by one of these schools every year.

We hope you take time to explore this site. It is jammed packed with information about our players, coaches and history. You can also take a virtual tour of our facilities and follow the Rams this upcoming season as box scores and photographs are posted almost daily. Every effort will be made to keep the site current, with new stories and information added throughout the year.

Enjoy your visit!

SPORTS ILLUSTRATED NAMES OWASSO TOP HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM IN OKLAHOMA

From Sports Illustrated's website dated June 25, 2007:

"Whether it is because of school size or the depth of the regional talent pool, not all state champions are created equally.

Still, after sifting through state tournament results for the 2006-'07 school year, contacting athletic directors from top programs, examining all-around success rates as well as weighing the importance of producing star athletes and teams that excelled on the national level, SI.com has assembled a list of the top high school athletic program in each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia."

While Owasso did not make the top ten rated programs in the United States, being recognized as the number one program in the state of Oklahoma is quite an achievement.

You can see the final listings at:
